Bio-Energetic HUB

The function of the human body is primarily designed to move, jump, run, hunt, breathe and fully express ones emotions through the body. However in this day and age with the consumer era, we have lost that connection with, our bodies and mother nature. As a result we produce toxins in the body bringing about sluggishness, sickness and depression.

Strolling through Clerkenwell, London, you will find people with consumed lives, fixated on mobile phones, reading books, sitting and eating for hours upon hours and most importantly leaving a distasteful trail of rubbish on the grounds of our communal streets. People pollute our air, with exhaust fumes, cigarettes, litter and empty talk and negative energy through banter leading to a life void of the sacred connection of man and earth and most importantly their connection with themselves.

I have proposed a practical solution which is housed in the very boxed environment people work, live and socialise in, to demonstrate a sacred act known by many indigenous tribes across the globe. The act of dance to celebrate the earth, the element of fire to represent the heart of the performance, a space to cook food using traditional methods and a exhibition gallery to increase awareness of the harms of dismembering oneself from mother nature.
